MTWTA Forum is for Library and Information Professionals who want to change their vision and priorities.The pillars of knowledge have changed. Now the libraries are not considered as the only way to getting information which leads to knowledge. They way the world changed has made the libraries or information centres to remake or repackage themselves. Now, before entering the library the user let him/her to be lost in the Net. She thinks no help is needed there, and it is everything.They spend a lion’s share of day’s(or night’s) timeonline.
Now to reach the user, the library workers have to go to their closed cubicles. To keep our profession and to keep the flow of knowledge intact , we dare to go.
The channel may be Blogs,Wikis, RSS, IM, social networking, social bookmarking, twitters or a lot to number. We have to use the trmendous opportunities they provide. Remake or restructure the New Media Technologies according to our needs to reach the audience or users where they are.
